Line striping in Parkersburg, WV for City Park. Work completed October 8, 2026. This project refreshed the parking lot markings to improve circulation and accessibility for park visitors.
Scope of work
We performed parking lot line striping at City Park in Parkersburg, WV. The work focused on repainting parking stalls, accessible parking markings, and traffic flow lines so the lot is clear for visitors and staff.
Only line striping was performed. No other pavement maintenance services were included in this work.
Preparation and site considerations
Before painting we made sure surfaces were dry and free of loose debris in the areas to be restriped. Proper surface condition helps the new markings adhere and last.
Work was scheduled to minimize disruption to park users. Where needed we restricted small areas of the lot while paint cured so markings would set without tracking.
Marking layout and accessibility
The layout followed the existing parking configuration and included clear stall lines and directional markings to support orderly vehicle movement within the lot.
Accessible parking spaces were clearly marked as part of the project to help park guests locate designated spaces. The markings were applied where existing accessible stalls were present.
Durability and maintenance tips
Fresh markings improve visibility but will wear over time with traffic and weather. Routine cleaning to remove oil and debris will help markings remain visible for longer.
Plan for periodic touch ups rather than waiting for markings to become unclear. Regular inspections after winter and during high use seasons will show when repainting is needed.
Project completion
Work at City Park was completed on October 8, 2026. The parking areas that received new markings were left ready for normal use after curing.
If the city or park staff identify areas that need adjustment after use we can schedule follow up visits to address them.
